Chicago Tech Startup Goes Live with Web Version of Mobile-Ordering App
CHICAGO - FanFood, a concessions management and mobile ordering platform at sports and live entertainment venues, announces today the launch of FanFood Web App (order.fanfoodapp.com). This newest web version allows users and venues to access all of the features of FanFood’s app without having to download it.
Created after user feedback, the web app removes that barrier and allows users to access all the features of FanFood by just utilizing the web address in their browser. This release is a testament to FanFood’s mission of delivering the best in-venue mobile ordering experience.
“This release will offer venues the flexibility to integrate a seamless ordering experience into an existing white-labled app or place an order by scanning a QR code,” said Carson Goodale, co-founder and CEO. “This is the next step to building a fully-integrated mobile ordering and concession management solution.”
Also included in the new web version is the ability for users to integrate with mobile wallet payments (Apple Pay and Google Wallet) in order to create a seamless ordering process.
“Now that we have dedicated product teams, we are not only building platforms that get us closer to a full omnichannel experience, but also increasing our capabilities to deliver a more tailored and customizable solution for venue partners,” said Jeremy Niecikowski, chief technology officer at FanFood. “From a technology perspective we are now able to provide a native-like experience for our Fans to order their favorite concessions directly from a mobile browser."
